One Hour Digital Literacy Activities

Purpose:Learn about Windows UI and also about multi-tasking in Operating Systems.

Lesson Notes

Make the group depending upon the class strength.
Ideally not more than 3 students per device.

    • Description

    Children will learn to use the windows UI like maximize, minimize, restore. They will see multiple applications running simultaneously and how keyboard and mouse events are routed to the correct application. Children will learn open files, Multi finger gestures, task bar, search bar etc.

    1. Explain the activity before starting the class.
    2. Use technical names whereever possible.Example: Maximize,Minimize,Restore etc.
    3. At the end of the class explain to the children what they did in this activity.
